Aristeidis Nikolaidis
Archon Protopsaltes of the Great Church of Christ
He was born in 1851 in Constantinople, and was shown a strong performer of psaltic art. A student of John Protopsaltes, he sung in the Patriarchal Church for 29 consequetive years, passing through all stages of the cantor hierarchy.
First Domestikos in 1882.

He died in 1923.
